KB Home is seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to identify, evaluate, and source prime land opportunities. You will build and maintain a land database using GIS tools to support market strategy and business plans.

Responsibilities include sourcing off-market deals, researching public records, and analyzing competitor locations and costs. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 1+ year mapping experience, and strong GIS/database proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in market research.
• 1+ years mapping experience preferred.
• 1–4 years land acquisition experience preferred.
• Proficiency in GIS and/or land-related databases.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new land opportunities using GIS tools and online databases.
• Integrate mapping information into a customized land database.
• Evaluate opportunities using metrics and market data.
• Source off-market deals and perform outreach to landowners.
• Conduct research on plans, agendas, and city updates.
• Analyze competitor locations, offerings, pricing, and costs.
