Job description

TITLE: GIS Developer
LOCATION: Remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12-week contract (short term)

GIS Developer Responsibilities:

• Develop and support the integration between GIS, C2M, and NMS systems.

• Collaborate with the GIS Technical Lead and ASCEND project team to analyze, document, test, and implement integration solutions.

• Support ongoing application and integration development within the Enterprise GIS environment.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, management, business units, and vendors.

• Address and resolve issues, incidents, and events related to integration and system performance.

• Ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with standards.

• Contribute to the GIS Center of Excellence’s mission and project objectives.

GIS Developer Requirements:

• Integration of enterprise systems, preferably in utility or GIS environments

• Application development and system support

• Working with cross-functional teams and vendors

• Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Problem-solving and issue resolution

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Skills:

• PL/SQL – Mid to Senior experience

GIS Developer Preferred Experience:

• C#

• Python

• ESRI Rest API

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55 to $63/ hour (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
