Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS/CS/CIS/Geography or related field required.
• Associate’s Degree with 2+ years in GIS support/design/implementation.
• High school diploma with 4+ years in GIS support/implementation.
• Esri Certification may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level to journey-level GIS support functions including spatial data maintenance, asset records, mapping, and data processing.
• Maintain and update geospatial databases and interpret engineering/infrastructure records.
• Support field data collection efforts, conduct QA reviews, and provide GIS project technical support.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Geography, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Associate's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Geography, or a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the support, design and/or implementation of Geographic Information database mapping systems (GIS).

High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the support, design and/or implementation of Geographic Information database mapping systems (GIS).
