Zusammenfassung

Nexus Water Group in La Mirada, CA is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to maintain our geospatial data, support engineering and planning teams, and ensure high quality spatial information across our water and wastewater operations.

You will work in a combination of office-based tasks with occasional field aspects, using ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to manage assets and produce maps. A foundational GIS background and CAD data experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or related field preferred
• Valid Driver's license
• 3-7 years of GIS experience

Aufgaben

• Maintain and update GIS data via digitization, scanning, and field data collection using GPS
• Perform QA/QC to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Create maps, exhibits, and visualizations for engineering, operations, and business use
• Incorporate CAD data (AutoCAD, MicroStation) into GIS with correct standards
• Use ESRI ArcGIS tools to manage and analyze spatial data for utility assets
• Support GIS data migration and maintain metadata/documentation
• Collaborate with teams and partners on GIS initiatives
• Provide user support for maps and GIS inquiries
• Ensure GIS data quality and consistency
• Incorporate CAD data into GIS files
• Enter/edit/analyze/report GIS information with ArcGIS
• Understand GIS concepts and ESRI software
