French & Parrello Associates in Wall, NJ is seeking a GIS Analyst to support our Geographic Information Systems Department. You will create, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets for engineering, planning, and environmental projects, and produce high-quality maps for proposals, reports, and public presentations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in geography or related field, 2–4 years of GIS experience, and proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of professional GIS experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Experience with utility asset inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Knowledge of spatial analysis techniques and data management best practices.
• Familiarity with CAD/GIS integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets in support of engineering, planning, and environmental projects.
• Produce high-quality cartographic products, exhibits, and mapping deliverables for proposals, reports, and public presentations.
• Perform spatial analyses, including proximity, overlay, network, and terrain modeling.
• Support field data collection efforts using GPS and mobile GIS applications.
• Manage and organize GIS data to ensure accuracy, currency, and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental scientists to integrate GIS into project workflows.
• Assist in the development of automated GIS processes and tools to increase efficiency.
