Job summary

The Governor’s Summer Internship Program (GSI) at the State of Indiana offers a GIS Analyst Intern role within the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). The intern will support the Technical Services Division on GIS projects, reporting to the District Traffic Engineer, with opportunities to learn practical GIS workflows and state government operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist GIS analysis in the Technical Services Division using GIS layers.
• Update and reflect Crawfordsville District road data in GIS systems.
• Assist with sign inventory and road feature data management in GIS layers.
