Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Experience with latest Esri GIS software versions such as ArcMap 10.8 and ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or higher.
- Model Builder or Python for workflow automation preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to derive actionable insights from spatial data.
- Demonstrated teamwork to collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in GIS data management and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of GIS principles and applications in the engineering consulting industry.
- Proficiency in Esri GIS software for data management, analysis, and visualization.
- Work with various data sources and spatial data formats.
- Perform geospatial analysis techniques including spatial statistics and 3D visualization.
- Integrate CAD data with GIS formats and conversions.
- Create, edit, and maintain geospatial databases and attribute schemas.
- QA/QC implementation and topology familiarity.
- Apply GIS solutions to engineering challenges.
- Communicate complex GIS concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
