Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or related field.
0–3 years of GIS experience (internships or projects accepted).
Experience with ArcGIS software suite.
Familiarity with SQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
Ability to interpret surveys, construction plans, and orthophotography.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze geospatial data for engineering and planning projects.
Create maps, exhibits, and visualizations for clients.
Document GIS projects and maintain spatial databases.
Coordinate with project teams and clients to meet needs.
Assist with data management and GIS workflow improvements.
Stay current with GIS tech and best practices.
May assist in coordinating GIS Technicians and Drafters on project tasks.
