Job summary
CSEngineering is seeking a GIS Analyst to support geospatial data management, mapping, engineering records, and facility planning for a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will bring strong GIS production and data-quality experience supporting infrastructure and real-property environments.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining GIS datasets, maps, and layers; ensuring accuracy and standards compliance; and providing user training and technical support for GIS tools
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2+ years of technical-field experience required.
- Extensive geospatial knowledge incl. cartography, remote sensing, and data visualization.
- Experience producing and maintaining digital geospatial data to standards.
- Familiarity with GIS applications and geodatabases preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage GIS files, databases, applications, and mapping products.
- Create and revise maps, charts, and geospatial data layers.
- Digitize, edit, review, and QA geospatial data.
- Maintain current and historical infrastructure, utility, floor-plan, real-property, and engineering data.
- Analyze geographic and facility-related information to support land use and installation planning.
- Provide technical support and training on GIS tools and procedures.
