Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a GIS Analyst 1 for a 36-month contract in Atlanta, GA. The role involves operating remote UAS to support aerial inspections, data collection, and collaboration with project teams.

As a key part of the Aerial Operations Center, you will perform safety checks, pre/post flight inspections, and maintain flight logs while staying compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in the Safety Management Program.
• Operate UAS to conduct aerial inspections, surveys, and data collection for various projects.
• Serve as a FAA Remote Pilot-in Command (RPIC).
• Plan and execute flight missions, ensuring compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the UAS is in optimal working condition.
• Analyze weather conditions and adjust flight plans accordingly to ensure safe operations.
• Collect, process, and quality check aerial data, including photographs, videos, and sensor data.
• Maintain detailed flight logs and reports.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on UAS equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to UAS operations.

Pay rate: $26/hr on W2

As a key part of the Aerial Operations Center (Client), the UAS Pilot, Client will be responsible for operating remote unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to support a variety of system operations and serve as an Client support coordinator. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, customer service, and communication skills.

• Support and participate in the Safety Management Program.
• Operate UAS to conduct aerial inspections, surveys, and data collection for various projects.
• Serve as a FAA Remote Pilot-in Command (RPIC).
• Plan and execute flight missions, ensuring compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
