Job summary

Gullett & Associates is seeking a GIS Analyst to produce aerial and route maps, create landowner and crossing reports, and convert GIS data including AutoCAD and KMZ formats. The role includes building and maintaining geodatabases and publishing data to ArcGIS Server applications.

Ideal candidates will have experience with ArcGIS Desktop/Server, SQL Server, Python, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of ArcGIS Viewer for Flex is a plus. Reports to the GIS Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography or related field is required.

Job description

Seeking a GIS Analyst for Gullett & Associates, a surveying, right of way and mapping company. Our clients are primarily oil and gas companies dealing with pipelines projects. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for producing a variety of aerial and route maps, creating landowner and crossing reports, and GIS data conversion of AutoCAD, KMZ and other formats. The GIS Analyst will also be responsible for creating and maintaining geodatabases and publishing map data to ArcGIS for Server applications.

Work Experience Requirements

• Experience working with ArcGIS for Desktop.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite highly preferred.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Python preferred.
• Experience working with ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS Viewer for Flex preferred.

EducationRequirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography or a related field with coursework in GIS.
