Qualifications

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification required.
• Concussion in Sports certification must be current (yearly).
• Heat Illness Prevention training every 4 years.
• Appearance/ PEDs training every 4 years.
• Heads Up certification (Football only) required yearly.
• First Aid/CPR/AED every 2 years for paid coaches.
• Bend-La Pine Safe Schools trainings yearly.

Responsibilities

• Hold high ethical and professional standards for student-athletes.
• Be a role model and set high expectations academically and behaviorally.
• Develop and implement a vision for the athletic program.
• Collaborate with staff to run a cohesive school-wide athletic program.
• Coordinate scheduling, fundraising, and team operations with the AD.
