Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for an Athletic Coach for the girls volleyball team at Boston Public Schools. This role involves full responsibility for coaching, discipline, and the overall development of student-athletes. The coach will be expected to create and implement practice plans, supervise assistant coaches, and ensure compliance with physical education policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and previous coaching experience, along with necessary certifications. The start date is immediate, and the role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to student-athletes' academic success.

Qualifications

• Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required.
• Current CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Concussion Certification.
• Member of state and/or national coaches association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish coaching philosophy and methodologies.
• Supervise and delegate responsibilities for all assistant coaches.
• Communicate and report game results to media and Athletic Director.
