Job summary

Penn's Grove School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support the Track and Field program. The role involves working closely with the head coach to develop athletes' skills, promote teamwork, and ensure a successful season.

Responsibilities include assisting with practices and competitions for the girls team, guiding events, developing training plans, tracking progress, and communicating with families and administration.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience in track and field or a related sport is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of track and field events, techniques, and training methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices and competitions for the girls track and field team.
• Provide instruction and guidance in events, focusing on skill development and technique improvement.
• Help develop training plans and conditioning programs tailored to individual athletes.
• Monitor and assess athletes' progress, providing feedback and encouragement to enhance performance.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding schedules and policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during practices and competitions.
• Maintain team records and statistics.
