• Knowledge of coaching techniques and human behavior.
• Positive, effective communication with students, staff, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sportsmanship and respect for officials, opponents, fans, and staff.
• Motivate student athletes and sustain their interest in the program.
• Run coaching activities in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Coordinate with athletic director to develop schedules and practices.
• Maintain equipment inventory and care; supervise coaching staff at all levels.
