Applitrack is seeking a Girls Soccer Head Coach at Southfield A&T High School to lead and develop the program, plan practices, coach games, and mentor student-athletes.

The role emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, safety, and collaboration with school staff, parents, and athletic leadership to ensure success on and off the field. Prior high school coaching experience and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong coaching knowledge of soccer rules, strategies and player development.
• Ability to plan and run effective practices and drills.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and run soccer practices and training sessions.
• Teach fundamentals and advanced techniques, strategies and game rules.
• Prepare the team for competitions and manage game-day coaching.
• Promote academic success, character development and personal growth.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all athletes during practices, games and travel.
• Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper use and storage.
• Coordinate schedules with the athletic department and manage logistics.
• Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and school administration.
• Promote sportsmanship, discipline, accountability and respect.
• Attend league meetings and pursue required certifications.
• Follow school, district and athletic department policies and procedures.
