The successful candidate will hold a Louisiana teaching certificate, meet LHSAA requirements, and be able to manage equipment, rosters, and communications effectively for student athletes.

Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate and LHSAA requirements.
• CDL Class B with P and S endorsements.
• Ability to adhere to LHSAA and JPPSS rules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing and implementing the track program.
• Provide leadership to staff and student athletes and uphold rules and regulations.
• Work after school hours and some weekends/holidays as needed.
• Maintain equipment inventory and manage rosters and schedules.
• Ensure athletes have current physicals and appropriate insurance coverage.
• Communicate with athletic director and administrators; report incidents promptly.
