Job summary

Maricopa High School seeks a dedicated JV Girls Volleyball Coach to lead athletes, plan practices, and promote discipline and sportsmanship within the program. The role reports to the Athletic Director and requires certifications in First Aid/CPR, NFHS coaching, and ADE coaching criteria, with a valid driver’s license and MVR.

The position is a stipend-based, 12-month role with duties including scheduling contests, maintaining records, and upholding district policies while ensuring student

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching athletics at the high school level.
• Knowledge of district athletic program goals and policies.
• Understanding of coaching techniques and student safety.
• Knowledge of state/federal and school board policies and regulations.
• Ability to respond to injuries with appropriate first aid practices.

Responsibilities

• Coach athletes to develop skills and game understanding.
• Provide a positive learning environment during practices and games.
• Plan and schedule a regular practice program in season.
• Maintain records and equipment as required by the district.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanship at all times.
