Position:

Girls JV Volleyball Coach

Qualifications:

• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Previous successful coaching experience in major sports.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and a commitment to ongoing learning of new theories and procedures.
• Serve as a positive role model for student athletes through actions and instructions.

Reports To:

Athletic director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation in conjunction with high school principals.

Supervises:

Assistants and middle school coaches, in coordination with the athletic director and principal.

Job Goal:

Instruct athletes in skills, strategy, and physical training to foster success and character development, including self-discipline, confidence, and pride.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing athletic policies and regulations.
• Managing staff, scheduling, and coordinating with maintenance.
• Ensuring safety and proper documentation of injuries.
• Mentoring students and promoting academic and personal growth.
• Managing equipment, facilities, and public relations.
