Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a replacement athletic coach based in Thornton, Colorado. The role requires coaching responsibilities with a 2.5-hour weekly schedule and eligibility based on CHSAA and district requirements.

The salary is determined by the Athletic Coaches Salary Schedule per the Certified Master Agreement. Candidates must have a current AED/CPR certification upon hire (Head Coaches) or First Aid/CPR certification (Assistant), CHSAA license/Coaches registration, concussion

Qualifications

• Hold a current First Aid/CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Previous coaching experience at high school or college level preferred.
• Ability to supervise students and enforce district/league/CHSAA rules.
• Know-how in the specific sport and ability to teach advanced techniques.
• Ability to promote and follow Board/Policy procedures and work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during practices and events.
• Enforce district, school, league and CHSAA rules and safety standards.
• Plan and direct practices and coach the sport to develop skills.
