Job summary

Nebo School District in Utah County is seeking an Assistant Coach to design and implement sport-specific activities, supervise student-athletes, and support the Head Coach in program execution. The role requires commitment to evenings and weekends and a background in CPR/First Aid and background clearance.

Responsibilities include evaluating players, developing game plans, and promoting sportsmanship while collaborating with staff to ensure safe, effective training and competition preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a job-related role is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance required.
• Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
• Education must meet organizational prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Analyze opponent strategies before and during games to develop a game plan.
• Assess student athletes and provide performance feedback.
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay updated on program goals.
• Develop game strategies with the Head Coach for competition readiness.
• Supervise student-athletes to ensure safety and minimize injury risk.
• Maintain records and monitor student eligibility and participation.
