Job summary

Norris Middle School in Norris, Tennessee is seeking a Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026–2027 school year to mentor student-athletes and foster academics, character, and athletic excellence.

The candidate will assist with planning practices and games, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, monitor eligibility and behavior, supervise athletes during activities, and support the head coach in achieving program goals while complying with district policies.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching or playing experience in basketball is preferred.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community.

Norris Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Girl's Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the head coach to develop student-athletes both on and off the court while fostering a positive, competitive, and educational athletic environment.
