Job summary

Leona Group Schools is seeking a high school coach at Alta Vista High School in Tucson, AZ. The position is off-contract with a fixed monthly pay of $1,250.

You will organize practices, assess players, develop game strategy, and supervise student-athletes while ensuring academic eligibility and proper conduct. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Prior coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize organizational meetings for team prospects and encourage participation.
• Assess players' skills and assign team positions.
• Develop regular practice schedules and organize practice time for individual and team development.
• Schedule facilities for practices and competitions with the athletics director.
• Coach players and instruct on rules, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Monitor academic performance to ensure eligibility and encourage high standards.
• Confer with parents/guardians regarding athletic performance.
• Promote the sport to booster clubs and community organizations.
