Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is expanding its Data Center Construction team. The Principal Data Center Asset & Quality Manager will lead asset management, material readiness, and quality assurance across procurement, delivery, installation, and acceptance at the project site and nearby warehouse locations.

The role demands strong judgment, coordination with internal and external partners, and an ability to maintain schedules and inventory controls in a fast-paced giga-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in asset management, material logistics, and quality assurance within data center or telecom environments.
• Proven ability to manage material readiness and quality assurance across complex construction programs.
• Strong collaboration with design, procurement, logistics, and construction teams to ensure schedule and cost objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; certifications like PMP/Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end material readiness for telecom infrastructure, coordinating from design through receipt, staging, delivery, installation and acceptance.
• Maintain visibility into material demand, procurement status, lead times, installation durations, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with telecom contractors, suppliers, procurement, and construction teams to identify shortages, long-lead risks, and delivery constraints.
• Establish inventory controls and asset tracking to ensure materials are properly received, stored, and accounted for.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality program for telecom materials and installation acceptance.
