Job summary

Digital Realty in Ashburn, VA seeks a Giga Campus Construction Lead to plan, coordinate, and direct construction for campus projects. You will liaise with design managers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and customers to ensure safe, on-schedule, and on-budget delivery.

You will oversee site development, data center deployments, and customer fit-outs, manage budgets and schedules, and lead risk reviews with stakeholders. A strong MEP/MEP budgeting background and a related degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical construction or similar MEP-focused environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Experience with data center or large-scale commercial buildouts is a plus.
• LEED AP credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale construction including site development, ground-up builds, data centers, and customer fit-outs.
• Build relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Review budgets, schedules, and documents to ensure quality and alignment with targets.
• Lead budget and schedule review meetings with stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate internal design/construction managers and third-party consultants.
• Develop and manage budgets and schedules across multiple buildings in various design phases.
• Monitor active work and escalate issues to drive resolution.
• Support permitting and entitlement processes with consultants and government agencies.
