Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter to engage customers with a friendly greeting, present merchandise, and assist with buying decisions. You will stay knowledgeable on products, support pricing and promotions, and keep the floor stocked and inviting. This role emphasizes service, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position is part-time and includes benefits such as discounts, 401k, and paid holidays. Prior retail experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers promptly and friendly.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish shelves per Merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product knowledge through training.
• Assist with pricing and signing of advertised items.
• Support seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restock merchandise and keep area clean and stocked.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Provide a legendary customer experience by identifying needs and recommending products.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
