Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is hiring a Gifted Teacher for the Academy of Classical Education at Covington. You will develop and implement a gifted program aligned with CSUSA educational model and NAGC standards, planning lessons and assessing students.

You will differentiate instruction, collaborate with staff, coordinate field trips, and contribute to curriculum updates while maintaining records and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field and state Gifted Education certification or willingness to pursue
• 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong time management, organization, and ability to build relationships with teachers, students, parents, and community
• Proficient Microsoft Office, SIS, and email communications

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a gifted education program aligned with CSUSA philosophy and guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans, assess students, and maintain records for IEPs.
• Differentiate instruction and use varied strategies to engage diverse learners.
• Coordinate field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Contribute to curriculum revisions reflecting NAGC standards and CSUSA model.
