Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid state certification for Gifted Education or willingness to pursue certification.
• 1–3 years of successful teaching experience; student teaching acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a gifted education program aligned with CSUSA guidelines.
• Create purposeful lesson plans with NAGC best practices.
• Assess student needs and maintain records with diagnostic data.
• Coordinate field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Develop curriculum revisions and select materials reflecting NAGC standards.
• Establish strong parent and staff relationships and protect student confidentiality.
