Job summary

Charyl Stockwell Academy in Howell, MI is seeking an Academically & Intellectually Gifted Teacher to design high-level curricula and deliver differentiated instruction for advanced learners, while fostering critical thinking and independent problem-solving.

The ideal candidate holds Elementary certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s in Gifted Education preferred), and at least two years of classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Current Elementary Teacher Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in project-based learning and STEM/STEAM integration.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Instruction: Design and deliver differentiated instruction for advanced learners.
• Student Identification & Assessment: Participate in the gifted identification process and review data.
• Differentiated Learning: Tier instruction and provide enrichment push-in/pull-out.
• Social-Emotional Support: Address affective needs of gifted students.
• Communication: Partner with parents and teams regarding student growth plans.
