Shift: Day Job

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Have flexibility to work weekends if there is an event.

Make a Difference

The Figleaf Sales Associate will be responsible for providing customer service in a professional and courteous manner, running the cash register, maintaining inventory, receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise, answering the telephone, utilizing electronic billing programs to conduct patient registration, and scheduling appointments with professionalism and adherence to HIPAA requirements. The Associate assists with and conducts fittings for mastectomy products, compression garments, and nursing bras.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and compassion for patients and their families. Ability to give and receive instructions, both written and verbal, is essential. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently. The candidate should be a team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to maintain composure in stressful situations, and willing to work at multiple locations with a flexible schedule for events. Attention to detail is crucial.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in fitting prostheses, bras, and customizing recommendations for mastectomy products, as well as fitting compression garments.
  • Accurately entering patient demographics, insurance, and financial information into electronic systems like EPIC, including verifying benefits and medical necessity in accordance with CMS standards.
  • Handling patient identification and insurance documentation appropriately.
  • Answering calls with proper etiquette.
  • Operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring correct pricing.
  • Merchandising, cleaning displays, and stocking merchandise.
  • Monitoring store traffic, preventing shoplifting, and maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Participating in cross-training and store rotation as needed.
