Job summary

Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, KS is seeking a friendly Gift Shop Clerk to provide excellent service while handling the sale of merchandise in the casino gift shop. This part-time, non-exempt role offers an attractive benefits package and opportunities to engage with guests across the property.

You will operate the cash register, greet customers, balance cash, stock merchandise, and use IGNITE service skills to upsell products and events throughout Prairie Band Casino & Resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience as a cashier or in a cash handling position.

Responsibilities

• Operates cash register and handles cash/credit transactions.
• Greets customers and provides friendly service throughout the visit.
• Maintains balance of cash register throughout and at shift end.
• Stocks and inventories merchandise according to schedule.
• Upsells products and promotes events.
• Provides product information and handles customer questions.
