Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a night shift team member to set up equipment, prepare products for processing, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in packaging. You’ll work 8:00pm–5:00am, in a dusty and cold environment, collaborating with teammates to meet customer orders.

Preferred education is a High School Diploma/GED, with pallet jack experience considered a plus. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry, live animal or manufacturing experience is a plus; pallet jack experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, strong communication, follow instructions, attention to detail, team player.
• Physical: Ability to work in dusty/hot/cold environments; lift up to 60 lbs.

• Uses ice and defrosting procedures to assure product temperatures meet regulatory levels.
• Notifies support personnel any time product does not meet quality expectations.
• Prepare products for further processing or packaging based on customer orders.
• Assure all products are drained properly whether tanked, bagged or placed in combo bins.
• Assist in other areas as assigned
• Other duties as required.

What you’ll need:
