Position Overview

Giants Baseball Camps is hiring a Site Director for summer youth baseball and softball camps across the Bay Area. We seek energetic, positive leaders who inspire youth, promote good decision-making, and foster a love of the game. We provide equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide leadership to ensure campers enjoy a meaningful and fun experience, develop skills, and appreciate personal accountability.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience leading, excellent communication skills
  • Passion for positively impacting children, families, and community
  • Experience working with ages 4-13
  • High school level or higher baseball/softball experience
  • Strong teaching and leadership skills
  • Ability to connect with children individually and in groups

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety for all campers
  • Manage and motivate campers daily
  • Implement Giants Camps curriculum
  • Provide feedback during drills and games
  • Highlight teachable moments
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold reputation
Qualifications
  • Commit to a 10-week program, Monday-Friday, approx. 8 hours/day
  • Travel to sites with reliable transportation
  • Pass background screening
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Ability to operate a rented cargo van safely
  • Basic baseball fundamentals knowledge
  • At least 1 year managing groups
  • Ready to have fun and stay relaxed

Interview Process
  1. Complete a one-way interview invitation
  2. 15-minute virtual interview with Camps Director
  3. 20-minute virtual interview with Executive Director
  4. Final decision
Compensation

Weekly pay ranges from $1,320 to $1,500, based on skills and experience.
