Job summary

The Endoscopy Center in Hilo, HI is seeking a full-time GI Technician to join our outpatient gastroenterology team. You will clean and maintain video endoscopes and accessories, assist physicians and staff during procedures, and follow CDC infection prevention guidelines under the Center Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of GI/Endoscopy or sterile processing is a plus.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain is required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain video endoscopes and accessories.
• Follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control.
• Assist physicians and staff during procedures.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Support the center’s mission.
