Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System seeks an Endoscopy Support Technician to ensure proper availability and functioning of endoscopic equipment accessories and supplies. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, and assisting during digestive care procedures.

Experience with endoscope disinfection and sterilization is preferred. Basis Life Support (BLS) is required. This full-time day shift (Mon-Fri) works under the direction of the RN in the Digestive Disease Center.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or on-file.
• Experience with endoscope disinfection and sterilization preferred.
• Ability to assist physicians and nurses in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper availability and functioning of endoscopic equipment accessories and supplies.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopic equipment according to standards.
• Assist the physician and/or nurse in preparation, delivery of care and recovery of Digestive Disease Center patients.
• Work under the direction of the RN; shift is 8 hours, days, M–F.
