Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Day Shift Endoscopy Support Technician to ensure endoscopic equipment and accessories are available and operational. You will clean and disinfect devices per standards and assist physicians and nurses in preparing and delivering care for Digestive Disease Center patients.

Able to work under RN direction with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Endoscope disinfection experience preferred. 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy instruments disinfection and sterilization experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper availability and functioning of endoscopic equipment accessories and supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects endoscopic equipment according to standards.
• Assist physician/nurse in preparation, delivery of care and recovery of Digestive Disease Center patients.
