Job summary

Required: High school diploma and BLS certification; prior GI Tech or ORT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS not specified.

Responsibilities

• Assists with gowning and gloving; helps prepare the procedure room.
• Maintains sterile technique and handles specimens per policy.
• Pre-clean, disinfect, and process endoscopes according to guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects instruments and equipment after use.
• Participates in TIME OUT and room readiness for procedures.
• Stocking, replenishing, and preparation of supplies as directed.
