Job summary

The GI Certified Surgical Technologist at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital supports endoscopic procedures by preparing rooms, handling instruments, and maintaining sterile technique to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification required; NBSTSA certification preferred.
• Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment for endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff during GI procedures.
• Handle, clean, and process endoscopic equipment per protocol.
• Anticipate procedural needs and help maintain workflow.
