Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education: identifies learning needs and uses patient education materials relevant to patient population.
• Evaluates care and communicates with the interdisciplinary team to promote continuity of care.
• Delivers care for patients with complex problems, adhering to nursing standards and safety requirements.
• Demonstrates leadership in goal setting, collaboration, and quality improvement activities.
• Assesses data to determine priorities; plans care with patient/family involvement; facilitates discharge planning.
• Participates in planning and prioritization to manage multiple tasks for complex patients.
• Keeps up with research and applies relevant studies to nursing practice.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
