Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Highland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse for Highland Park Hospital with the ability to float to Evanston, Skokie and Glenbrook as needed. Hours are 7a - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week, with weekday on-call and weekend call 1-2 shifts every 2-3 weeks and one weekend every 8 weeks.

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate care, collaborate with the clinical team, and support optimal patient outcomes across populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of Nursing is required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Illinois RN license is required; CPR: BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience highly preferred; Medical Surgical with telemetry monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse delivers safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
