Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking a registered nurse to join the Adult Ambulatory Gastroenterology and Hepatology procedural area at URMC in Rochester, NY. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, OR-like setting supporting endoscopic procedures and moderate sedation under the Nurse Manager's direction.

Qualified candidates will have NYS nursing licensure, strong communication, teaching abilities, and comfort working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the Nurse Manager in a GI/hepato ambulatory setting.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and moderate sedation.
• Support the recovery process and education of patients and families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient care.
