Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a GI Pre-Procedural Nurse for an outpatient environment in Missouri. This RN will provide direct patient care in collaboration with providers and the care team, supporting daily patient management in a clinic setting.

Role emphasizes patient education, documentation accuracy, and adherence to clinical protocols. The position is safety-sensitive and requires BLS certification and appropriate nursing credentials.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree required.
• 2-5 years nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and Specialists to develop and implement care plans to maximize healthcare outcomes and facilitate wellness.
• Uses nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Assures that clinical protocols and patient assessment guidelines are followed in accordance with SOPs and compliance guidelines.
• Supports providers in documenting patient assessment and treatment in the chart.
• Provides patient education and support with verbal and written instructions.
