Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine and completed Residency.
• Board eligibility/certification as Bayhealth requires by bylaws.
• Delaware medical license and DEA as applicable; CSR if required by duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform appropriate physical exams and document promptly.
• Utilize and interpret diagnostic tests and provide referrals when needed.
• Educate patients and counsel on wellness and risk factors.
• Provide coverage to care for patients in ambulatory and hospital settings during business hours and weekends as agreed.
• Maintain and demonstrate clinical, technical and surgical skills credentialed for the role.
• Dispense medications safely—consider age, allergies, interactions and duration of therapy.
• Maintain Delaware medical license and DEA; complete CME and meet board requirements.
• Fulfill all other duties within the scope of responsibilities.
