Job summary

United Digestive seeks a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our GI team. The role involves providing medical assistance in office and hospital settings, with duties split between Forsyth and Griffin locations.

New graduates are welcome to apply and GI experience is preferred. The APP will participate in daily GI outpatient clinics, counsel patients, handle emails/voicemails, and ensure HIPAA compliance while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required.
• GI experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Running daily GI outpatient clinic.
• Accurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures.
• Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner.
• Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information.
