Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health – Lahey Clinic seeks a Board-Certified/Eligible Medical Oncologist specializing in GI malignancies to serve as Vice Chair of Quality and Safety, Oncology. The role blends executive leadership with active patient care, advancing high-quality, safe, equitable oncology across the Lahey Cancer Institute.

The position is based at Lahey Clinic in Burlington and Lahey Medical Center Peabody, with collaboration across the BIHLH system, and a focus on GI cancers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Medical Oncology.
• Clinical expertise in gastrointestinal malignancies.
• Unrestricted medical license eligibility in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of quality and safety initiatives within the division.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators for clinical quality, safety, access, timeliness, equity, and experience.
• Partner with medical, surgical, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, APPs, genetics, palliative care and supportive services.
