Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to join the Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology team. The role supports care for GI cancers with physicians, researchers, and nurses in a multidisciplinary setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of APP experience; GI, internal medicine, or transplant backgrounds are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) required or preferred.
• GI or internal medicine/transplant experience preferred.
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge across GI malignancy care.
• Participate in education and professional development within the team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and research staff to deliver patient care.
