The Supervisory Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in operating a GI nursing unit within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

This role is 80% clinical and 20% administrative, focusing on staff development, adherence to standards, and serving as a liaison between staff and leadership. Preferred candidates have supervisory experience, strong clinical background in GI, and the ability to lead evidence-based practice changes while ensuring compliance with policy.

Competenze

• English language proficiency required to practice in clinical settings.
• Progressive nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff in a dynamic unit.

Mansioni

• Supervise nursing unit operations and support Nurse Manager.
• Provide coverage for other ANMs as needed.
• Direct staff orientation, training, and performance evaluation.
