Job description

Gastroenterology group practice with locations throughout Maryland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Riverdale location. Group also provides infusion, pathology, weight loss, and nutrition services to its patients.

Join 18 provider (9 GI Physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers/APPs) GI group practice which is seeking to add a great Nurse Practitioner to the team. The successful candidate will be bilingual: Spanish & English.

  • Monday to Friday with no on call, no weekends, and no hospital rounding
  • Practice independently
  • Refer to GI physicians for procedures
  • Perform history and physical assessment
  • Order labs, interpret lab, order imaging, and follow up on all results
  • Prescribe medications and manage medications specific to patient needs
  • Create a plan of care utilizing care guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Approved Maryland State Medical License, Board Certification, Maryland CDS, and DEA certificate
  • Prefer two years of Gastroenterology and/or outpatient practice
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
