Job summary

The MedElite Group is looking for a compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Springfield, MA. This part-time position involves providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders while working in a supportive team environment.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience in long-term care, an active nursing license, and a Master's Degree in Nursing. Benefits include a competitive salary between $60,000 - $90,000 annually, paid time off, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA license.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• A year of experience in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents.

Skills

Strong organizational and time-management skills
