Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our Gastroenterology practice onsite in Salem, MA and Danvers, at 55 Highland Avenue. The role focuses on evaluation/management of outpatient GI patients with consults, follow-ups, and sick visits, with a 40-hour week, typically 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nursing required.
• 2 years of licensed NP or PA experience in Gastroenterology preferred.
• APRN-NP state license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education in ambulatory and clinical settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to policies.
• Documents admission, progress, and discharge notes timely.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to GI patients.
